We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join the Deepdesk team and support our expansion into Microsoft Azure. Currently built on GCP, we need someone with the expertise to help us replicate, migrate, and bridge our existing infrastructure into the Azure ecosystem, while maintaining our current high standards for scalability and uptime.

This is a hands-on technical role at the heart of a significant infrastructure evolution. You will own the Azure setup, manage services across both cloud environments, and play a key part in shaping how Deepdesk scales globally.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Expansion: Lead the technical setup of Deepdesk resources within Azure, ensuring parity with our existing GCP environment.

Hybrid Infrastructure: Manage and optimise services across both GCP and Azure, with a focus on cross-cloud connectivity and consistency.

Infrastructure as Code: Use Terraform to maintain source-of-truth configurations for both cloud providers.

CI/CD and Automation: Adapt existing deployment pipelines to support multi-cloud release cycles.

What We’re Looking For

Azure (Primary Focus)

• Deep experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Service, and Azure Networking including VNETs and ExpressRoute.

GCP (Secondary Focus)

• Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, specifically GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud Build, and IAM.

Core Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Terraform, essential for managing multi-cloud environments.

• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration across different cloud environments.

• Experience managing DNS, load balancing, and security groups in a hybrid or multi-cloud setup.

Competencies We Value

Bridge builder, the ability to translate GCP workflows into Azure best practices and bring clarity to a complex multi-cloud transition.

Adaptability, comfortable working in a transition phase as we build out new infrastructure in parallel with an existing production environment.

Strategic thinking, the ability to identify potential pitfalls such as cross-cloud latency or data egress costs, and to proactively design around them.
