We're partnering with a dynamic international organisation to find an Azure Architecture Lead to join its team. Working within a lean internal IT function, you'll shape the company's Azure platform, hybrid infrastructure and integration landscape while guiding external service providers. Your work will help ensure Azure solutions are secure, reliable, scalable, cost-effective and aligned with business needs.

About the Role:

In this senior technical role, you'll set architectural direction and governance for the company's Azure platform and hybrid infrastructure. You'll work closely with IT and business teams, cybersecurity specialists, and managed service providers to turn business needs into effective Azure solutions and continually improve the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set the architecture, governance and standards for the Azure platform and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Lead Azure networking, security, resilience and disaster-recovery design.
  • Guide application and integration architecture, including APIs and Azure services.
  • Promote automation, DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Oversee Azure cost optimisation and technical compliance.
  • Provide architectural leadership and technical oversight of managed service providers.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of Azure networking, platform services and hybrid connectivity.
  • Experience with application, API and integration architecture.
  • An understanding of DevOps, automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Experience working with managed service providers and guiding technical teams.
  • A structured, collaborative approach to architecture and technology governance.

The ideal candidate will bring solid experience designing and governing Azure platforms, hybrid infrastructure and enterprise solutions and be able to turn business needs into secure, scalable and cost-conscious architectures, communicate technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
