of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): The Programming Board Student Supervisor shall be responsible for co-chairing the Programming Board to fulfill the organization’s mission as the primary social programming entity on campus, providing regular events and activities that cater to a variety of diverse interests. The Student Supervisor will serve as the primary supervisor of the Program Organizer team overseeing event implementation across the Campus Activities, Late Night, Off-Campus, Special Events, and Spirit Activities in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Student Activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Co-chair Programming Board and supervise the Programming Board administrative team including the facilitation of meetings, support of team members, team development opportunities, and other related tasks.
Facilitate the hiring process of the Programming Board Executive Board.
Oversee the Program Organizer team consisting of Program Organizers for Campus Activities (2), Late Night (2), Off-Campus (1), Special Events (2), and Spirit Activities (1) in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Student Activities. Hold regularly scheduled meetings with each Program Organizer to remain apprised of relevant updates from each programming area.
Meet weekly with the Programming Board co-chair and Assistant Director of Student Activities.
Recruit and select Programming Board general membership through an application and interview process.
Lead the Programming Board in the development of a robust programming calendar via a semesterly event submission and selection process with the Assistant Director of Student Activities.
Facilitate large-scale events for New Student Orientation and other key programs such as the Fall Block Party and Springfest
Maintain three weekly office hours in the Office of Student Activities.
Represent the Programming Board and its programmatic efforts to College and SGA bodies as requested.
Assist with Office of Student Activities initiatives including but not limited to training, Fall and Spring programming reports, Presence data review, financial reports, etc.
Facilitate the hiring and training processes for the following year’s Programming Board Co-Chairs in conjunction with the Assistant Director and Director of Student Activities.
Facilitate the ongoing assessment of the Programming Board, to include feedback from the student body on programmatic efforts. Feedback is to be solicited through a variety of means including but not limited to surveys, open forums, and tabling.
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Prior experience with campus programming, including service on the Programming Board, or equivalent experience is required.
