of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): The Programming Board Student Finance Organizer is responsible for administering the Programming Board budget and ensuring that the Programming Board is functioning in accordance with St. Olaf College and Office of Student Activities financial policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer the Programming Board budget and ensure that the Programming Board is functioning in accordance with St. Olaf College and Office of Student Activities financial policies.
Present a report to the Programming Board on the status of budget matters when requested.
Collaborate with the Office of Student Activities staff on the monthly reconciliation of programming credit cards.
Provide financial training to Programming Board membership throughout the academic year as needed.
Monitor Programming Board allocated funds and maintain up-to-date records for an audit if needed.
Attend all Programming Board and Programming Board Executive Board meetings.
Meet weekly with the Assistant Director of Student Activities.
Meet biweekly with the Programming Board Co-chair.
Maintain two weekly office hours in the Office of Student Activities.
Assist with the training of the incoming Finance Organizer in collaboration with the incoming Programming Board Co-Chairs.
Assist with Office of Student Activities initiatives including but not limited to trainings, programming reports, Presence data review, financial reports, etc.
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Experience with budget management
Experience with Presence finance (preferred)
Experience with campus event management (preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong time management skill and an ability to meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Spreadsheets
