of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): The Programming Board Student Creative Organizer is responsible for overseeing all Programming Board digital and print marketing strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all Programming Board digital and print marketing strategies.

  • Identify marketing priorities and develop campaigns (using print, web, special events, etc.) to advertise events and initiatives of the Programming Board.

  • Create posters, brochures and other materials as requested. Oversee smaller poster and marketing by general members and coordinators.

  • Maintain the organization of marketing materials in the Programming Board Google Drive.

  • Attend all Programming Board and Programming Board Executive Board meetings.

  • Meet weekly with the Assistant Director of Student Activities.

  • Maintain two weekly office hours in the Office of Student Activities.

  • Assist with the training of the incoming Creative Organizer in collaboration with the incoming Programming Board Co-Chairs.

  • Assist with Office of Student Activities initiatives including but not limited to trainings, programming reports, Presence data review, financial reports, etc.

  • Meet as needed with individual coordinators and Co-chairs.

  • Meet and collaborate with Pause Marketing Team and SGA MCD as needed for events or campaigns

  • Branding and larger-picture marketing campaign directing.

Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)

  • Graphic design skills

  • Familiarity with or ability to learn programs within the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva.

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Competent communication and collaboration skills

  • Strong leadership and team working abilities
