Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Support the weekly Neuroscience “Neuro Nibbles” gathering by preparing and transporting event supplies, assisting with beverage preparation, and returning supplies after the event.

- Organization: Prepare, transport, and return supplies needed for the weekly Neuro Nibbles gathering.
- Communication: Communicate with the supervisor and event participants regarding supplies, setup needs, and any issues that arise.
- Responsibility: Independently complete recurring tasks and ensure that supplies are returned after each weekly event.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pick up the designated supply cart and supplies prior to the weekly Neuro Nibbles gather.
- Transport the supply cart and materials to the Neuro Nibbles gathering.
- Safely operate an electric tea kettle to provide hot water for tea and hot chocolate during the event.
- Assist with making supplies available to event attendees as needed.
- Return the supply cart and event supplies to the designated location after the gathering.
- Communicate with the supervisor about missing supplies, equipment needs, or other issues related to the weekly event.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
- Ability to reliably arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks independently.
- Ability to safely transport the designated supply cart and supplies.
- Ability to communicate appropriately with students, faculty, and staff.
- No previous experience required; training will be provided.
Physical and Environmental Factors:
This position requires twisting/pivoting, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, and lifting objects up to 20 lbs. to perform the essential functions. Candidates must possess the ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
