of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): To assist Asian Studies faculty in their teaching. Very rarely, students may be asked to assist in their research and in college-related service.

Duties and Responsibilities:
To work with a given faculty member in Japanese; Those who are assigned as tutorial leaders, they will consult with the faculty member on the content of the tutorials and conduct weekly individual or small group tutorial sessions (Japanese 111 to Japanese 302); Those who are assigned as graders, they will review homework, correct quizzes, input the grades onto Moodle.
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Minimum qualification: Preference will be given to students who completed Japanese 232 with a grade of A- or better, or equivalent language ability. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision Strong interpersonal skills and strong Japanese language skills. Enthusiasm for promoting and teaching Japanese.
