of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Assistant helps take attendance, may lead occasional warm-ups and creative exercises, assists students during class, and provide and/or moderate feedback sessions, and helps organize final showing.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Encourage and help students explore their creative voices
Provide feedback, and may moderate feedback sessions
Tracking student attendance and occasionally communicating attendance record with students
Helping organize final showings
May occasionally lead warm-ups or creative exercises.
Participate in class exercises
Run sound for showings
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Choreography experience (preferably have taken Choreography & Improv and Adv. Choreography)
Teaching/Leadership experience preferred
Familiarity or willingness to learn Liz Lerman’s Critical Response Process
Ability give unbiased feedback and moderate feedback sessions
Must be available during class periods
Physical and Environmental Factors:
This position requires crouching, kneeling/crawling, stooping, twisting/pivoting, climbing/balancing, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, lifting and carrying objects up to 20 lbs., and repetitive motions to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise to perform the essential functions.
