We are looking for an experienced Axiom Developer with strong expertise in Axiom ControllerView, regulatory reporting, BFSI, Oracle, MS SQL, and PL/SQL to design, develop, maintain, and enhance regulatory reporting solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with Axiom development and a strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements, data models, taxonomies, and reporting workflows. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into scalable and reliable Axiom solutions.

The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently while also leading a team of Axiom developers and supporting delivery within an Agile environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, maintain, and enhance regulatory reporting solutions using Axiom ControllerView V10.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand regulatory requirements, reporting specifications, and functional requirements.
• Design and develop Axiom objects including data sources, data models, shorthands, portfolios, aggregations, freeform reports, and workflows.
• Develop and maintain regulatory reports in accordance with business and regulatory requirements.
• Work extensively with Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PL/SQL for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting.
• Analyse source data and implement appropriate data mappings and transformation logic within Axiom.
• Support regulatory reporting solutions and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Troubleshoot development, testing, and production issues and implement appropriate fixes.
• Coordinate closely with business teams throughout requirements gathering, development, testing, and delivery.
• Work independently on complex Axiom development activities and provide technical guidance to other developers.
• Lead and coordinate a team of Axiom developers where required.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, development, testing, and release activities.
• Contribute to framework enhancements and small-scale improvements to improve development efficiency and reporting capabilities.
• Support Axiom migration and upgrade projects where required.
• Work with scheduling tools such as AutoSys for report and batch execution.
• Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for supporting reporting and data-processing activities.
• Support regulatory reporting solutions such as FINREP, COREP, FINSTAT, or similar frameworks.
• Maintain technical documentation, development standards, and solution specifications.
• Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality, timelines, and regulatory reporting requirements.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5+ years of overall professional experience, with strong exposure to the BFSI domain.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Axiom ControllerView V10.
• Strong understanding of Axiom taxonomy and regulatory reporting concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Axiom objects including data sources, data models, shorthands, portfolios, aggregations, freeform reports, and workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PL/SQL programming.
• Good understanding of databases, data processing, scripting, and reporting architectures.
• Functional understanding of regulatory requirements and regulatory reporting processes.
• Experience working with regulatory solutions such as FINREP, COREP, FINSTAT, or similar reporting frameworks is desirable.
• Exposure to taxonomies such as APRA, MAS, EBA, or equivalent regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
• Experience with Axiom migration projects is desirable.
• Familiarity with AutoSys or other enterprise scheduling tools is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Unix scripting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Agile development and sprint-based delivery models.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate Axiom development teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technology teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured approach to troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and delivery timelines.
• An Axiom certification would be an advantage.
