MAIN PURPOSE

OF THE JOB:

Identify, assess, implement and monitor the Company’s compliance framework on Financial Crime Compliance to ensure that the Company operates in accordance with local and AXA Group requirements

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Implements compliance with regulatory and Group requirements on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), and Sanctions
    • Formulates, reviews, modifies, disseminates and implements policies, procedures, guidelines, and controls
    • Identifies policy and procedural gaps or breaches and monitors remediation or closure of gaps/breaches
    • Assists business units in the adoption of new/updated requirements and embedding activities
    • Supports FCC team’s AML/Sanctions operations unit with monitoring and reporting activities, including but not limited to Covered Transaction Reporting, Suspicious Transaction Reporting, name screening, transaction monitoring, freeze order compliance, and similar activities
  • Works with Compliance Culture Officer to develop, implement, and monitor compliance awareness and training programs
  • Assists in internal and external audits/examinations and ad hoc requests and reviews
  • Identifies and escalates potential and actual vulnerabilities, risks and issues on AML-CTF and Sanctions

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience on Philippine AML-CTF and Sanctions laws and regulations in the banking or insurance industry
  • Experience in policy-making is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrates a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A team-player
  • Can work under minimum supervision
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
  • Very good communication skills (oral and written)
