Job Summary

Oceans Code Experts is looking for a talented individual to join as an AX18 Information Security & Risk Management (Threat Hunter). This role involves utilizing cybersecurity expertise to proactively detect and mitigate security threats within a 24x7 security operations environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Proactively hunt for security threats and anomalies within the network.
• Manage major security incidents effectively.
• Work in a 24x7 security operations center or enterprise security environment.
• Handle endpoint security incidents such as malware infections and unauthorized access.
• Prepare incident timelines, technical findings, and post-incident reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide management summaries.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and the latest cybersecurity trends.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of security operations processes.

Job Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or threat hunting.
• 2+ years of experience in major incident management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field preferred.
• Experience in endpoint security incident handling.
• Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and incident response lifecycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or similar certifications.

Nice to Have

• CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Responder (CCFR) certification.
• CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Hunter (CCFH) certification.
• Experience in digital forensics.
• Knowledge of security tools and technologies beyond the listed requirements.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

• Full-time consulting position.
• Up to 40 hours per week with flexible core hours.
• Fully remote work setup.
