About the job

The person shall be responsible for contributing to developing methods as well as performing AWS Cloud Data Center operations of the global organization. Stakeholders within the organization include colleagues in the IT Infrastructure team; owners of application systems in IT and in business functions; managers of IT in various legal entities within the MX segment; and IT Leadership. Needs to work closely with providers of Cloud Data Center
services to deliver business needs and achieve service goals.

Skill Sets

Rich hands-on skills in the AWS platform. Deep exposure to projects involving solution design, development, interfacing, migration, and operating on the AWS platform.

  • In-depth knowledge of server virtualization with VMware
    as well as Windows/Linux distributions.
  • In-depth experience with the common cloud platforms
    (AWS, Azure, SAP, GCP, ...)
  • Completed studies in computer science or comparable training plus professional experience.
  • High commitment, resilience, motivation, and flexibility Communication skills, social competence, and assertiveness Very good analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of information security operations in
    cloud architectures.

 Know how on tools, methodologies

Need to have:

  • Awareness of Agile methodologies (i.e. DevOps, sprints, scrum, related tools, etc.)
  • Awareness of ITIL (e.g. v4 Foundation) Experience in using common tools like JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, etc. for Kanban, agile projects, and service operations.

 Desired Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure topics.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing servers. infrastructure in-house and Data Center.
  • Experience in international projects is an advantage.
  • Need to have: Migration from on-premise to AWS.
  • Desirable: Exposure to heterogeneous server landscape with multiple interfaces.
  • Need to have: Exposure to Agile DevOps; collaboration tools.
