As an AWS Gen AI Engineer - Senior Associate you will support the design and delivery of software solutions within our Software and Product Innovation practice, with a focus on AWS-based generative AI engineering and client service work. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, guide junior team members, and build meaningful client connections while applying critical thinking, professional standards, and a growing understanding of business context. In this role at PwC, you will contribute to solution design, coding, testing, and delivery activities, while using technology resources and methodology to help develop applications that support digital transformation and improved business performance.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing AWS-based generative AI applications and software components for client engagements
• Building, testing, and maintaining application code using Python, JavaScript, and related development tools
• Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions across cloud, API, and microservices environments
• Applying software engineering methods to create, review, and refine application frameworks, data flows, and deployment processes
• Using AWS services and AI tooling to support solution architecture, integration, and performance improvement
• Evaluating technical issues, breaking down complex problems, and proposing practical implementation approaches
• Reviewing code, testing results, and defect trends to support reliable delivery and reduce rework
• Collaborating with clients and team members to anticipate delivery needs, clarify priorities, and support workstream progress
• Mentoring junior team members on development tasks, code standards, and software delivery practices
• Interpreting feedback and data to improve solution design, technical documentation, and client outcomes

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
• Demonstrating AWS native development and testing project experience
• Utilizing Python, Java, or JavaScript in application development
• Applying CI/CD, code review, and testing methodologies
• Interpreting client needs into scalable cloud solutions
• Mentoring junior team members while navigating ambiguity
