The Review & Release team performs timely, manual reviews of trade orders that are flagged for additional checks before being sent to the market. The team reviews order details, relevant account information, and control indicators to determine whether an order should be approved for execution, held pending additional information, or rejected. Coverage includes equities/ETFs, listed options, and mutual funds, with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance with internal controls and applicable regulatory requirements. In addition, the team supports the broader trading control environment by performing routine maintenance to pre-trade order controls within the order rules engine, reviewing and actioning pre-market control reports to help ensure the health of the open order population, and responding to front-office inquiries related to orders and controls. This role supports CWM Full Service and Self-Directed lines of business during regular and extended-hours trading. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, market-driven environment.
