The Awards and Directories Specialist plays a key role in the firm's strategic execution of its awards and directories program. Working closely with the other members of our Awards and Directories team, they will help to identify key awards and directories that align with the firm's strategic priorities and practice group objectives, assist with managing the end-to-end awards and directories process, and ensure that all submissions are crafted to tell compelling stories about the firm’s practices, industries, and individual lawyers.
The Awards and Directories Specialist will collaborate closely with individual lawyers and business development leads to plan and create compelling awards submissions and will play a key role in researching and recommending new awards, regularly evaluating current awards, and coordinating the submission process for all awards and directories across the firm. In this capacity, they will work with our Communications, Business Development, Media Relations, Branding, Digital Marketing and Marketing Services teams to ensure award and directory submissions are effectively editorialized and all award and recognition wins are promoted across firm marketing channels. Along with other members of the Awards and Directories team, they will be responsible for maintaining all awards processes, communicating all relevant awards-related information about deadlines, best practices and results to lawyers and our Client Development team, and the tracking of awards in the firm’s awards and directories database.
This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
