As a member of the Risk & Assurance team in Group Channels & Digitalisation, you will play an important role in exercising oversight over branches and other GCD departments, with a focus on designing and implementing effective controls and providing risk advisory to internal stakeholders. Familiarity with AML, 3rd-Party risk management, fraud & scam handling, and branch operations will be advantageous. You will be expected to drive initiatives across Group Channels & Digitalisation to translate regulatory and risk management requirements into practical guidelines, and to conduct reviews and testing for ongoing assurance. As part of this role, the use of data analytics to anticipate, identify and manage risks will be required.
Drive initiatives to nurture and promote a robust and effective risk culture
Support and develop reporting for key risk indicators and other metrics to monitor risks across branches and other channel platforms
Provide risk advisory and support for branches, HQ departments, GCD initiatives and projects
Conduct quality assurance testing and thematic reviews, not limited to account opening checks, process and operational checks, and the continuous auditing of GCD units for regulatory compliance.
Requirements
Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in a financial institution, preferably in a risk or governance function
Able to balance business needs, customer experience and risk management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Mature, responsible, and highly driven
Able to work independently and in a team
