Purpose of the role:
This role plays a critical part in partnering with businesses to drive informed decision-making for senior management, through insightful performance analysis, planning and forecasting. The incumbent will lead deep-dive analyses on segment performance, identify key financial and business drivers, and translate data into actionable recommendations. This is a highly visible role requiring strong commercial acumen, stakeholder engagement skills, and hands-on execution.
What you will be doing:
Performance Management & Insights
Drive in-depth analysis of segment performance, including trends, variances, KPIs, and underlying business drivers
Develop forward-looking insights to support strategic planning, forecasting, and target setting
Provide clear, concise recommendations to senior management based on financial and business analysis to drive business growth
Business Partnering
Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on financial performance related matters (including Fund Transfer Pricing, Cost allocation, Joint income, etc)
Proactively support business units in understanding performance and improving profitability
Reporting, Tools & Automation
Design and enhance management reports and dashboards to improve transparency and decision-making
Leverage data analytics, automation and AI tools to improve reporting efficiency and analytical depth
Projects & Collaboration
Support finance and business initiatives, including new products, systems or methodology changes
Collaborate closely with local Finance teams, other departments and Group Finance stakeholders
What are we looking for:
Working Experience
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 8 years’ experience in management reporting and business performance analysis in reputable financial institutions
Proven track record in driving performance insights beyond standard MIS/reporting
Familiarity with FTP and internal profitability frameworks in a banking environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent senior stakeholder interactions
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability as a strong business partner
Technical / PC skills
Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and deep dive analysis; knowledge of Power Query or VBA would be a big advantage
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and other visual analytics tools, e.g. PowerBI dashboards, for management presentation
Use of AI to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
