Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for the end-to-end processing and administration of Unit Trust transactions, ensuring accurate and timely execution of transactions, reconciliation, regulatory compliance, and service delivery. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, outsourced service providers, and fund houses to support business growth while maintaining operational excellence and risk controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the Unit Trust Operation processing team to ensure service delivery standards are consistently achieved.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members to enhance operational capabilities and performance.
  • Acts as the key liaison between internal business teams and outsourced vendor to ensure timely transaction processing of Unit Trust and service delivery of client’s requirements.
  • Support Business teams in new initiatives and product launch.
  • Monitor vendor performance against agreed service level agreements (SLAs) through daily dashboard, monthly service review and ad hoc call and regular discussions.
  • Review operational incidents, identify root causes, and ensure implementation of corrective & preventive actions to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Perform due diligence on outsourced service provider and follow-up on day-to-day activities
  • Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and service level agreements.
  • Support internal and external audits, compliance reviews, and due diligence activities.
  • Ensure SOPs, process flows, and control documentation remain current and effective.
  • Achieve Operational efficiency by streamlining processes and implementing quick win solutions. Identify automation opportunities to control risk and improve productivity.
  • Participate in projects discussion, share inputs for process improvements and work closely with all stakeholders and Seniors in the project.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Banking, Accounting, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Unit Trust Operations, Fund Administration, Wealth Management Operations, or related banking operations.
  • Strong understanding of Unit Trust products, transaction lifecycle, and operational processes.
  • Experience working with outsourced vendors and service providers is an advantage.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and external parties.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Good attitude, open-minded and able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment

Added Advantages

  • Knowledge of Alternative Investment products such as Private Equity and Hedge Funds.
  • Experience with Clearstream Vestima or other fund processing platforms.
