
Zurich is seeking an AVP, Underwriting Manager, Construction Casualty or VP, Senior Manager, Construction Casualty for the Mid-Atlantic Region to join our Global Specialties Construction team in our Philadelphia office. This is a hybrid role that will require 3 days per week in a Zurich office.
This role will be filled at either the AVP, Construction Casualty Underwriting Manager or VP, Construction Casualty Manager .The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.
This position will lead the Mid-Atlantic Construction Casualty team and work closely with key brokers and clients to deliver comprehensive first-party risk transfer solutions. This leadership position will be responsible for the delivery of key business objectives for the Mid-Atlantic Construction Casualty team, along with developing, mentoring, and guiding a team of Underwriters and Account Service Associates. You will collaborate closely with Zurich’s broad team of Construction experts and resources, across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
There will be approximately 25% travel for this position.

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. If your expectations are above the listed range, we still encourage you to apply—your unique background matters to us. The combined salary range for this position is $160,100.00 - $346,700.00. The proposed salary range for the AVP, Underwriting Manager is $160,100.00 - $262,000.00, with Global Specialty Incentive Plan bonus eligibility set at 40%. The proposed salary range for the VP, Senior Underwriting Manager is $211,600.00 - $346,700.00, with Global Specialty Incentive Plan bonus eligibility set at 50%.
