Main Responsibilities

  • Lead system development projects primarily in the Consumer Financial Services business domain area

  • Manage the scope, time and resources to deliver system project with quality

  • Led the systems development projects to complete as defined requirements

  • Organize, plan and track the project activities, meeting, resources and budgets

  • Supervise and manage IT project resource (personnel, hardware etc.)

  • Manage the project’s relationships with Project Sponsor, User Project Manager and User Representatives, consulting representatives and third-party vendors

  • Ensure that project standards are followed over the work to be performed.

  • Ensure completeness of project documentation and activities, quality and adherence to defined procedures and standards

  • Ensure projects are executed according to XDLC and Agile Playbook including artifact requirements to fulfill audit purposes.

  • Resolve project issues (technical issues) and control project scope

  • Manage project risk i.e., Plan for risk management and mitigation (track and monitor project risks, make recommendations to alleviate the project risks)

  • Control and monitor project progress and timely report status to management

  • Recommend and review selection of hardware and system software

  • Review Requirement Specifications for completeness and correctness

  • Ensure that Functional Specifications are compiled

  • Execute and follow Risk Assessment Process

  • Execute and complete the self-assessments of Technology Security, Application Vulnerability, Architecture Vulnerability, where applicable.

  • Follow Secure Design Review and Secure Code Review, where applicable

  • Ensure SIT is conducted and approve the SIT Test Plan and Test Log and Report

  • Follow UAT by reviewing UAT Plan, UAT Test Log and Report

  • Provide review inputs on the technical details of the Rollout and Training plans

  • Undertake PMO responsibilities


Requirement

  • 10+ years in IT experience especially in banking/finance industry

  • Experience of working in Agile environment with large, complex and change projects.

  • Experience on confluence, Jira, and Infinity, with mobile / digital projects is preferred.

  • Ability to build strong relationship with stakeholders base on a good understanding of business objectives and able to help drive projects deliveries in line with the business objectives.

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills

  • PMP / Scrum Master certification is a plus

  • Technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies is a plus

  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is preferred
