This is a challenging high-profile role focused on delivering insightful credit analysis, ensuring rating accuracy, and engaging with market participants. You will develop deep expertise in the assigned asset class, contribute to thought-leading research, and play a key role in the end-to-end rating process, including active interaction with investors, issuers, and other stakeholders.
• Lead credit risk analysis for structured finance transactions, providing clear and well-reasoned rating recommendations
• Act as lead analyst in rating committees, presenting analysis and driving discussion
• Prepare high-quality research, including special comments, internal publications, and methodology papers
• Contribute actively to rating committees and the overall rating process
• Engage with investors, issuers, and intermediaries through meetings, presentations, and ongoing dialogue
• Conduct independent analysis of complex credit portfolios and recommend rating actions with minimal supervision
• Author insightful research on transactions, issuer developments, and sector trends, supporting market transparency
• Support investor outreach initiatives focused on portfolio and industry developments
• Participate in analytical initiatives, projects, and internal knowledge-sharing forums
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, supporting team development
• Lead issuer meetings, including on-site visits, and maintain professional communication with investors and market participants
Moody’s Structured Finance Group is responsible for assigning and monitoring credit ratings for securities backed by pools of residential mortgage loans, auto loans, and other asset classes.
