How you succeed

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be proactive and flexible, with a strong focus on delivering results. You’ll work closely with our branch staff to identify and resolve operational issues, and provide support and guidance to help them achieve their goals. You'll also need to be able to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business growth.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop, revise and maintain procedure manuals for branch operations teams to align with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Identify risks proactively and ensure controls are well designed in the processes and procedures while identifying streamlining opportunities.

  • Align with the Group’s process flows and procedures (where applicable) and reference the best practices of the local market in the annual review of all procedure manuals to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with different stakeholders such as procedure & channel owners, risk and operation teams to ensure procedures adhere to regulatory standards and mitigate risks.

  • Support Product/Channel Owners to seek approval on updated procedures and conduct training to ensure staff understand and follow updated procedures.

  • Help design & implement the policy/procedure management system to ensure updated procedures are kept and maintained, as well as facilitate staff on retrieval.

  • Maintain accurate records of procedural changes and ensure accessibility to support audit or relevant teams for information or clarification.

  • Support Compliance/Audit/external regulators by providing necessary documentation and procedures as appropriate.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree holder with 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong knowledge of retail banking operations, compliance and risk management

  • Ability to develop clear, structured and comprehensive procedural documents

  • Excellent on communication and problem-solving skills

  • Good command on English and Chinese
