Job Description

• Investment Leadership: Lead evaluation and execution of complex transactions across decarbonisation-linked sectors including clean energy, climate tech, low-emission manufacturing, and sustainable infrastructure.
• Strategic Deal Sourcing: Build and manage a strong network of originators, sector advisors, and founders to source proprietary and high-quality opportunities.
• Thesis & Sector Development: Contribute to fund-level investment theses; lead deep-dive sector research and develop differentiated insights to guide pipeline prioritization.
• Transaction Management: Oversee due diligence processes, negotiate term sheets, supervise financial and technical modeling, and manage third-party advisors through transaction close.
• Portfolio Strategy & Oversight: Partner with portfolio company leadership to drive strategic initiatives, monitor KPIs, improve governance structures, and maximize value realization.
• Exit Execution: Contribute to exit strategy development, market timing, and execution including drafting of investor materials and coordination with investment banks.
• Team Mentoring: Coach and guide Associates and Analysts in transaction execution, modeling, sector analysis, and communication.
• Investor Communication: Support interactions with Limited Partners including periodic reporting, responses to information requests, and participation in fundraising efforts.
• Risk Management: Identify and proactively address key commercial, financial, and operational risks associated with investments and portfolio performance.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build productive relationships with industry leaders, promoters, policy experts, and ecosystem players to enhance the fund’s positioning and access.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas to enhance internal investment processes, frameworks, and decision-making protocols.
