Job Description

Job Location: JWV Administration Building - Corpus Christi, TX 78414
Position Type: Full TimePRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
To manage the Loan Officer and Dealer Relationship Management team and grow the Credit Union’s relationship to the dealers that participate in our indirect lending program by providing world class service levels and to assist the Credit Union in capturing incremental business from our dealer partners.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- - Manage the Dealer Relationship Manager sales team to ensure that Rally CU continues to create, grow and maintain strong business relationships with Dealer Principals, Sales Managers, F&I Managers and Directors and other dealership management personnel.
- - Drive loan growth objectives as set forth by Credit Union senior management.
- - Maintain working knowledge of all plans and programs available from RALLY.
- - Effectively communicate, present and support Credit Union plans and programs to Lending and Sales staff, Dealer Principals, Sales Managers, F&I Managers and Directors and other dealership management personnel
- -  Support Dealer Services purchase policy guidelines.
- - Complete, analyze, action and/or monitor dealer and territory reports.
- - Sell the value proposition of Rally Credit Union to dealers while providing “Best in Class” service.
- - Manage and monitor “Watch List” dealers in order to prevent Rally Credit Union losses.
- - Make recommendations to Vice President of Indirect Lending regarding adding dealerships to or removing dealerships from the Indirect Lending program.
- - Support the Sales Team by providing training on Rally Credit Union services to dealer personnel as needed.
- - Assist in the execution of the Sales / Business Plan for the market
- - Perform monthly loan review for Indirect Loan Officers and provide coaching and feedback to staff to ensure a consistent purchase policy.
- - Coordinate with Indirect Loan Officers to create a work schedule to ensure adequate coverage for the Indirect Department.  Ensure that work schedules are input into the Payroll System.
- - Work with VP Indirect Lending to evaluate the work performance of staff on annual performance evaluations. Ensure that evaluations are complete and administered in a timely manner.
- - Manage timecards for all direct reports, including but not limited to: approving all absence leave, annual leave and overtime.  Ensure employee timecards are approved to facilitate payroll processing.
- - Work with VP Indirect Lending to ensure new Loan Officers are thoroughly trained in all phases of their position, as well as Credit Union procedures.
- - Review and decision loan applications received from dealers in our program and be a primary point of contact to rehash deals with dealers.
- - Work directly with Indirect Lending Manager to communicate with and train dealership personnel to resolve common and recurring contract package errors that delay contract funding.
- - Work without direct supervision while traveling to visit dealerships.
- - Coordinate with Dealer Relationship Managers and Indirect Loan Officers to arrange joint dealer visits in the Corpus Christi, Rio Grande Valley and all other markets within our Field of Membership.
- - Ensure annual due diligence review process for partner dealerships are completed by the Dealer Relationship Manager team in a timely manner.
- - Manage a sales budget for business development and ensure monthly expense reports are filed accurately and on time for all direct reports.
- - Ensure the protection of the credit unions interest in matters of adequate documentation and adherence to policies and the various laws and regulations that apply.
- - Ensure all assigned training is completed to stay up to date on changes to state or federal regulation that impact the Credit Union’s indirect lending program.
- - Inform Credit Union of any potential risks or concerns to the Credit Union’s interests that may surface during the normal course of business.
- - Demonstrates an understanding of and follow the requirements of all regulation compliance including but not limited to those Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), AnitMoney Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Member Due Diligence (MDD) as it specifically relates to their job functions.
- - Responsible for completing BSA/AML compliance training annually.
- - All other duties as assigned.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
Supervise Approximately: 10 to 12 employees.
Reports To:  Vice President of Indirect Lending
Contacts: Extensive daily telephone contact with dealerships and frequent contact with other departments and members.  Extensive face to face contact with dealership employees.
RequirementsEDUCATION
- The position duties require the communication, mathematical and general business knowledge acquired by a college degree or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE
- Eight (8) years prior lending experience with five (5) of those years in Indirect loan underwriting (decision making with loans).
- Two (2) years of management experience to adequately perform the job functions.
- Candidate must be available to travel to dealerships within field of membership, work outside of business hours and Saturdays when requested by management.
- To adequately perform this position, the incumbent must have excellent public relations and sale skills and knowledge of consumer lending federal and state laws and regulations.
- AFIP Certified Professional of Financial Services within 1 year required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Position involves wrist/hand manipulation, restriction to workstation for extended periods of time.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision for frequent viewing of computer monitor and review of documents.
- Must have possession of a dependable vehicle, a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a vehicle for business related purposes.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Most important to this position are good communication skills, accuracy, initiative, follow through and reliability.

- Personal computer with windows environment, calculator, copy machine, fax machine, and Scanner.
