An opportunity for a highly motivated, industry established and senior professional within the Futures and Options and OTC Clearing Operations team, joining the Taiwan ETD Ops team located in Taiwan. Candidate will be looking to pursue a successful career in the field of Futures & Options and OTC Clearing. The individual will report directly to the Head of APAC ETD Operations in the APAC region.

The department has a Market Operation which comprises of Clearing, Deliveries (manages Life Cycle events), Reconciliation, Regulatory / Exchange and Process Control, Data Control, Static Data, Clearing Infrastructure Solution and Strategy. This structure is replicated globally in AMRS and EMEA, processing trading activity over 60+ global exchanges either through direct clearing memberships or third party brokers.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Taiwan ETD Ops team to achieve Operations Excellence
- Continuous Improvement of the Operating Environment with regards to Straight-Through-Processing, Risk and Control
- Partner with key internal stakeholders to support strategy and policies, including new business initiatives, development and implementation of new processes and controls
- Ensure compliance of operations processes to internal policies and relevant rules and regulations
- Engage with Operations and Technology teams, including the APAC Hub, to ensure smooth operations processing
- Owning risk agenda for Taiwan ETD, including governance, control and process reviews
- Point of contact for regulatory engagements, audits, internal queries and issue management pertaining to Taiwan ETD Ops

Requirements:

- Exhibit excellent SME qualities with at least 5 years of proven track record in similar team setting, ideally in Global Markets Operations / F&O and OTC Clearing Operations environment.
- Strong communicator and possess the ability to manage and influence all levels of stakeholders effectively
- Client centric yet risk averse mindset to execute business rollouts / initiatives to balance operations risks against business outcomes
- Attention to details and strong analytical abilities to interpret and resolve complex issues and queries
- Provide guidance and assistance to the team whenever required
- Promote collaboration within Global Market Operations to achieve desired results as a group
- Address and adapt to regulatory and industry changes for Taiwan market (TAIFEX in particular)
