Regional Assistant Vice President/South – NJ (Hybrid)
Shift: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

What You’ll Do:
The Regional Assistant Vice President (AVP) provides executive-level operational leadership and strategic oversight for all assigned programs and services within the designated geographic region. The role is responsible for driving operational performance, financial sustainability, growth initiatives, workforce engagement, regulatory compliance, and community partnership development across Residential, Mental Health, Employment, Day, and Community-Based Services.
Key responsibilities include:
• Provide executive oversight for regional operations across Residential, Mental Health, Employment, Day, and Community-Based Services.
• Ensure operational performance, census growth, service delivery targets, and quality outcomes are achieved across the region.
• Advance Whole Person Care initiatives through integrated, person-centered service delivery models.
• Maintain accountability for regional financial performance, budget management, forecasting, and operational sustainability.
• Monitor census, staffing, productivity, overtime, and operational expenditures to ensure fiscal viability and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for regional expansion, new program development, and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, healthcare systems, referral sources, managed care organizations, and government entities.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, Medicaid, licensing, accreditation, and contractual requirements.
• Oversee regional readiness for audits, inspections, licensing reviews, and regulatory monitoring activities.
• Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, operational priorities, and organizational growth strategies.
• Lead and develop Directors and management teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
• Promote continuous quality improvement and data-driven operational decision-making.
Who You Are:
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, Counseling, Healthcare Administration, Business (MBA), or related field required; Doctorate preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 5+ years in senior management within behavioral health, mental health, healthcare, or human services.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, operational excellence, quality improvement, revenue cycle management, and budget oversight.
• Strong background in integrated care, managed care, Medicaid, and partnerships with healthcare and community systems.
• Skilled communicator and collaborator with experience leading cross-functional teams and advancing DEI-centered leadership.
• Proven ability to use analytics, KPIs, and data systems to drive performance and organizational outcomes.
