
We are seeking a highly experienced and financially sophisticated professional to lead and manage complex insurance strategies at Welltower. This role will be responsible for structuring, negotiating and optimizing insurance programs and our risk management function, with a particular focus on complex risk scenarios and aligning with broader financial objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in commercial real estate insurance and/or healthcare operations insurance, strong analytical and financial acumen and a proven ability to navigate nuanced and high-stakes insurance matters, including captive insurance matters. This position can be based out of our Toledo, OH, Dallas, TX or New York, NY office.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in risk management and compliance is required.
A bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required. Advanced degree (MBA, JD or Master’s) is preferred. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and verification of employment, education, and other credentials relevant to the position.
