Purpose of the role

To enable data-driven strategic and operational decision making through extracting actionable insights from large datasets, performing statistical and advanced analytics to uncover trends and patterns, and presenting findings through clear visualisations and reports.

Accountabilities

• Investigation and analysis of data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification, documenting data sources, methodologies, and quality findings with recommendations for improvement.
• Designing and building data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.
• Apply advanced analytical techniques to large datasets to uncover trends and correlations, develop validated logical data models, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations that drive operational and process improvements, leveraging machine learning/AI.
• Through data-driven analysis, translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations, identifying opportunities for operational and process improvements.
• Design and create interactive dashboards and visual reports using applicable tools and automate reporting processes for regular and ad-hoc stakeholder needs.

Will require strong interpersonal skills given requirement and ability to collaborate and work cohesively with colleagues across businesses globally. Ability to influence decisions, negotiate, motivate and challenge stakeholders at all levels in the bank. Ability to foresee issues, devise and implement solutions independently and proactively, managing expectations accordingly.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success role To support Private Bank & Wealth Management business with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting through technical expertise. Monitoring the business KPIs, reporting metrices to ensure that they are timely reported to senior leadership.Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in the processes.Development and implementation of data insights, MIS, intelligence, development of reports and presentations on performance and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

• Ability to process, synthesize and execute large data sets into actionable insights.
• Experience of devising, executing business strategy broadly at client and business level.
• Significant Private Bank & Wealth Management industry experience.
• Ability to contribute effectively when working with senior colleagues across the business.
• Must be able to execute at speed, under pressure and with absolute accuracy.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, at all levels, external and internal.
• Strong planning, organization, and co-ordination skills.
• Ability to deal with highly confidential and market sensitive information.
• Creative, proactive, analytical, self-starting mindset and ability to move with pace and enthusiasm.
• Excellent written, analytical and presentation skills – advanced use of PowerPoint and Excel.

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

• Experience in working with global offices and the ability to collaborate across multiple regions.
• Hands-on experience working in cross-functional/multi geographical settings.
• Understanding of Finance & Accounting concepts.
• Prior experience of data and analytics.

This role will be based out of DLF Downtown, Gurugram.
