Position: AVP Controllership (Regulatory Reporting)

Work Schedule: 6:30 AM 4:00 PM EST

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated AVP Controllership (Regulatory Reporting) to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely regulatory reporting for a global financial institution. What You'll Do:

• Prepare and review daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting schedules (FR2900, FRY-9C, FFIEC031, FRY-9LP, FRY-11, FFIEC009, FRY-14Q, FRY-15).
• Lead and track progress on key regulatory reporting projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time.
• Maintain and continuously improve documentation, job aids, and policies for accuracy and compliance.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal audit, quality assurance reviews, and regulator inquiries.
• Support system implementation and automation initiatives to streamline reporting processes.
• Participate in process improvement projects and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Take ownership of special projects and drive them to successful completion.

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with at least 3 years of accounting experience in Banking or Financial Services (or 7+ years of relevant industry experience without a degree).

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting principles.

Experience working with financial systems (HFM, Hyperion, Oracle Financials Data Warehouse) and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proven leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Hands-on regulatory reporting experience.
• Familiarity with Axiom Controller View.
• Proficiency with data and reporting tools (Oracle Discoverer, Business Objects).
