What you’ll be doing:
Support strategy and business planning function, eg reporting to Group/ ALCO to understand the business performance
Prepare related MI and meeting pack for business planning purpose
Monitor financial performance, KPIs, product profitability, and conduct customer data analysis to drive business performance and meet annual targets
Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for yield optimization
Assist in preparation of operational plans, forecasts and financial budget to ensure WBG’s strategies fulfil the bank’s overall targets
Drive the digitalization of management information / process improvement / data-driven decision making.
Support the implementation and adoption of new system
Who are we looking for:
Degree graduate in Finance, Statistics, Business, Data Science or related field disciplines
Minimum 5-10 years of relevant working experience in data analysis in banking industry
Fluent in conversional English & Mandarin; Good English & Chinese writing skill
Strong knowledge of banking operations and project management skills
Excellent business acumen and the ability to dig deep to understand business performance drivers
Presentable and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, and a strategic mindset
Self-motivated, creative, articulate, and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Detail-mined with a “can-do” attitude and well-organized
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Proficiency in Chinese Word Processing, MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and preparing presentations for management
Proficiency in VBA / SAS / PowerBI is preferred
Experience in AI, Big Data, Python, or other advanced analytics tools is an advantage
