We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a AVP, BUSINESS PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

In this role you will:

  • Revenue & cost dashboards / MIS : Own end-to-end production of weekly/monthly dashboards and MIS packs covering revenue, cost and core performance KPIs across clients, products, segments, channels and RM portfolios. Provide clear analysis of run-rate vs plan/forecast, trend movements, and variance drivers (actuals vs plan/forecast/prior periods), with concise commentary suitable for senior forums. Deliver targeted deep-dives on revenue and cost movements (mix, productivity, pipeline/conversion where applicable), highlighting risks, opportunities and proposed follow-ups.
  • Governance & performance cadence (timely and accurate tracking): Run the operational rhythm for performance governance: timeline management, inputs coordination, deck build, review cycle, distribution and meeting readiness Maintain action/decision logs, track delivery against agreed actions and targets, and follow up with stakeholders to drive closure. Ensure consistent KPI usage and interpretation by maintaining definitions, calculation logic and methodology notes for recurring packs.
  • Data quality, controls and auditability: Execute robust data validation and reconciliation checks across source systems and Finance numbers; escalate issues early with impact assessment and recommended fixes/workarounds. Maintain version control and audit trail for dashboards, assumptions and methodology changes to support transparent decision-making and control expectations.
  • Continuous improvement / automation: Identify and deliver improvements to simplify and automate reporting (standard templates, controlled datasets, BI refresh routines), reducing manual effort and improving turnaround time. Partner with Business, Finance, Product and Distribution teams to improve data availability and quality, and to embed self-service reporting where feasible.

To be successful you will need:

    • Experience in performance management, MI/reporting, planning/forecasting, business analytics or finance partnering within banking/wealth preferred.
    • Strong understanding of commercial drivers: revenue, cost, productivity and profitability/efficiency concepts.
    • Advanced Excel; exposure to BI tools (e.g., Power BI/Tableau).
    • Strong execution discipline: detail-oriented, deadline-driven, able to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver “first-time right” outputs.
    • Clear communicator: able to translate analysis into crisp messages and materials for senior audiences.
