About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to support the Community Lending and Investment (CLI) line of business Chief Operating Office (COO) within Commercial Real Estate (CRE). The CLI line of business primarily invests and finances affordable housing properties along with supplying capital to CDFI's and investors in New Market tax credits.
This role supports our focus on building strong customer relationships while maintaining a strong risk and compliance culture. Responsibilities include execution of all applicable risk programs, such as Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, and Regulatory Compliance, as well as adherence to Wells Fargo policies and procedures, fulfillment of risk and compliance obligations, timely escalation and remediation of issues, and sound risk-based decision-making. There is a strong emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, and sound decisions aligned with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
