Job Description

Position Summary

Reporting directly to the VP, Treasurer, the AVP, Assistant Treasurer is a senior Treasury leader and strategic partner responsible for all aspects of capital structure initiatives including analysis and recommendations, capital raising efforts, rating agency , banking relationships and credit card processing relationships. The AT will closely collaborate with treasury operations and financial risk management to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach is taken with all transactions.

This role blends traditional treasury leadership with forward-looking accountability for operational excellence, process modernization, and data-informed decision support.

The AVP serves as a key advisor to the Treasurer and CFO, driving enterprise value through thoughtful financing strategies, and continuous improvement across all treasury activities while ensuring strong governance, compliance, and financial discipline .

Key Responsibilities

  1. Capital Markets & Financing Strategy
  • Lead the structuring, negotiation, execution, and ongoing management of complex financing transactions, including public and private debt and equity issuances, bank financings, leases, export credit facilities and credit card processing agreements.
  • Develop and continuously evolve the company’s capital structure, liquidity, and leverage strategy
  • Provide strategic recommendations on capital allocation, refinancing, debt repayment, and shareholder return optimization
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with banks, lenders, rating agencies, credit card processors, and external financial partners
  • Support treasury-related disclosures and contribute to SEC filings and external reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Oversee debt servicing and interest expense forecasts and accruals

3.Data-Driven Insights

  • Develop forward-looking predictive models and scenario analyses to support executive decision-making
  • Improve treasury reporting through data visualization, dashboards, and insight-driven analytics
  • Partner closely with FP&A and Accounting to align forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning
  1. Financial Governance
  • Ensure compliance with all debt covenants, financing agreements, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare all treasury related board materials
  • Strengthen stress testing, contingency planning, and liquidity resilience frameworks
  • Maintain strong internal controls, governance processes, and audit readiness across treasury activities
  1. Strategic Influence & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Treasurer and senior leadership team on capital strategy and financial risks
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Legal, Investor Relations, and Operations
  • Represent Treasury in strategic negotiations, including large-scale capital commitments and financing arrangements
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing Treasury team, building capabilities in both technical expertise and digital fluency
  1. Treasury Transformation, Technology & Innovation
  • Define and execute a multi-year roadmap to modernize Treasury capabilities, with a focus on optimizing recently implemented systems (including FIS) and unlocking their full strategic value.
  • Identify and implement AI-driven and automation solutions to enhance liquidity forecasting, risk analytics, and capital planning.
  • Establish best-in-class treasury practices by leveraging emerging technologies and benchmarking against industry-leading Treasury organizations.
  • Act as a change agent, driving adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working across the Treasury team and key Finance stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in treasury, capital markets, or corporate finance
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex financial initiatives
  • Deep experience in capital markets transactions and structured finance
  • Experience leading or supporting treasury process improvement or system enhancement initiatives
  • Exposure to large, global, capital-intensive organizations

  • Strong expertise in capital markets, liquidity planning, and financial risk management
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Experience with treasury management systems, financial platforms, and reporting tools that support effective decision-making and operational discipline
  • Familiarity with automation, forecasting approaches, and analytical methods that improve planning and business insight
  • Ability to apply systems and tools in ways that improve efficiency, transparency, and decision support
