Role: AVP – AI Developer

Exp Range : 8+ years

Work Location : Mumbai

We are looking for an AVP – AI Developer to join the Internal Audit & Advisory Department. This role supports the Internal Audit & Advisory function by designing, developing, and deploying AI-based solutions to automate and enhance audit activities. The role focuses on bot development, text analytics, intelligent automation, and AI-driven insights to reduce manual effort, improve audit coverage, and enable continuous auditing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions to support internal audit use cases across the audit lifecycle
• Develop intelligent bots and automation tools to assist auditors in repetitive audit tasks such as data extraction, reconciliation, control testing, and evidence validation
• Build NLP and text analytics solutions to analyze audit reports, policy documents, regulatory guidelines, emails, and unstructured data
• Develop AI-driven continuous auditing and monitoring solutions to identify anomalies, control failures, and emerging risks
• Collaborate with internal auditors to understand business processes, audit objectives, and risk areas and translate them into AI solutions
• Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) and scale them into production-grade solutions
• Ensure AI solutions adhere to governance, security, data privacy, and model risk management standards
• Document AI models, logic, assumptions, and limitations for audit and regulatory review
• Provide technical guidance and training to audit teams on AI tools and automated solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–10 years of experience in AI/ML development, Gen AI, LLMs, automation, or advanced analytics, preferably in BFSI or risk/audit domain
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or related field
• Strong programming experience in R and Python
• Familiarity with ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Experience in NLP, text analytics, document processing, and unstructured data analysis
• Hands-on experience in bot development, RPA, or intelligent automation platforms is an advantage
• Experience working with large datasets, APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud or on-prem AI deployments
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate audit requirements into AI solutions
• Understanding of internal audit, risk management, and control concepts is a strong advantage
• Ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-driven, innovative, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
