This role is for a Senior AI Engineer who will build smart, autonomous AI systems for a bank. These systems don’t just answer questions—they can think step‑by‑step, remember past information, use tools, and make decisions safely.

You’ll play a lead technical role, designing how these AI agents work, making sure they are secure, reliable, and ready for real business use, especially in a banking environment.

Purpose:

• Design, architect, and deliver secure, scalable, and reliable core platform systems

• Build highly available, fault‑tolerant solutions that meet strict banking security and compliance standards

• Embed security into development using DevSecOps, including automated security and compliance checks in CI/CD pipelines

• Lead cloud and Kubernetes initiatives across AWS and Google Cloud to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

• Define and manage system reliability goals (uptime, performance, stability) while balancing speed and stability

• Design on‑demand, cost‑optimized environments with efficient resource management

• Mentor junior engineers and influence long‑term technical strategy, standards, and best practices across the organization

Essential capabilities:

• 7-14 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, backend, or related roles, building and operating large‑scale, business‑critical infrastructure

• Hands‑on experience designing and managing multi‑cloud solutions across AWS and Azure, with strong cloud‑native and Kubernetes expertise

• Proven ability to build secure, fully automated CI/CD pipelines and embed security and compliance throughout the development lifecycle

• Strong security and risk mindset, with experience designing systems that meet strict financial‑services security, compliance, and reliability standards

• Solid architectural judgement and leadership skills, including mentoring junior engineers and making well‑balanced decisions across performance, cost, reliability, and security
