Avionics Technician
Certified Aviation Services – Birmingham, Alabama
Certified Aviation Services is seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing aircraft electrical and avionics systems while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft electrical and avionics system issues.
- Perform wiring repairs, modifications, and installations.
- Re-wire and re-pin connectors, install circuit breakers, relays, and related electrical components.
- Perform avionics installations, inspections, and system checks as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Use standard avionics hand tools and test equipment effectively.
- Follow all FAA regulations, company procedures, and safety requirements.

Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand aircraft wiring schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Experience with aircraft wiring, connectors, circuit breakers, relays, and avionics installations.
- Must have basic avionics hand tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing to work overtime as requested.
- Aviation maintenance experience preferred.
