Who we are looking for

We’re seeking an Avionics Technician I who will be responsible for installing software and testing electrical line replaceable units (LRU’s). The role has no direct reports and reports to the operations manager. From time to time, the technician will be required to support shipping, receiving and warehouse functions.

What you will do

• Follow engineering drawings, procedures, and maintenance manuals as applicable.
• Perform typical maintenance functions such as software implementation and acceptance testing.
• Demonstrate basic troubleshooting ability.
• Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish specific tasks.
• Execute all required paperwork as work is being completed in connection with assigned duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Be familiar with ESD processes and requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent level of English.
• Familiarity with SAP - strong plus
• At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting and effecting avionics software loading and testing in commercial transport aircraft.
• Knowledge of aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform all avionics/electrical functional testing.
• Advanced knowledge of tools and test equipment.
• Knowledge of avionics/electrical troubleshooting techniques/procedures.
• Ability to work with limited supervision of assigned tasks.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship legally.
