Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Avionics Engineer.The B-2 Avionics Engineer provides avionics engineering support for modernization, integration, sustainment, and test activities on the B-2 platform and for advanced weapon systems within AFLCMC’s Fighters & Advanced Aircraft community (Bombers Directorate and F-35 Program).
This is a full-time position located on-site at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB) in Dayton, Ohio.
***Contingent Upon Contract Award***
• Provide avionics engineering support for communication, navigation, mission, and flight control systems.• Support requirements development, system integration, and verification activities.• Review contractor designs, analyses, and test data.• Support lab, ground, and flight test activities.• Assist with deficiency analysis and corrective action development.
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must posses and maintain a Top Secret w/SCI eligibility Education: ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Avionics, or Systems Engineering Years of Experience: Minimum 12 years of avionics engineering experience, preferably on bomber or complex aircraft platforms
