Job Description

The Training Manager is responsible for leading a team of trainers and ensuring the effective delivery of high‑volume, instructor‑led and hands‑on operational training across multiple aviation service lines. This position is both strategic and hands‑on—responsible for coaching and developing a small team of trainers while also directly facilitating training when needed.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 annual salary (US Dollars)

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program

The Training Manager ensures training programs are delivered consistently across all locations and shifts, supports a safety‑driven and operationally ready workforce, and maintains standardized onboarding, compliance, and skills‑based training. The role partners closely with operational leaders to identify training needs, maintain regulatory compliance, and support “Day One Ready” performance across the organization.

Success in this role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and the ability to operate effectively in fast‑moving, dynamic airport environments

Key Responsibilities:

Training Strategy & Program Management

  • Lead and manage a team of trainers responsible for delivering ILT, OJT, and skills based training.
  • Implement standardized training programs, including onboarding, compliance, safety, and recurrent training.
  • Ensure training content remains up to date, accurate, and aligned with operational requirements.
  • Collaborate on curriculum updates and refinements; may assist in developing materials such as presentations and job aids.

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Facilitate engaging in‑person training sessions.
  • Oversee training scheduling, coordination, logistics, and resource coordination.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality training delivery from training team.

Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance oversight for the trainer team.
  • Monitor trainer performance and identify development opportunities.
  • Support staffing decisions, onboarding of new trainers, and skill development.

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration

  • Oversee accurate tracking of training records in the organization’s and client’s LMS platforms.
  • Review, validate, and distribute training completion reports. Ensure reporting supports audits and compliance needs.

Performance & Evaluation

  • Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, employee performance data, and feedback.
  • Track employee progress and provide insights to leadership on training outcomes.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to training processes and delivery methods.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with operational leaders to ensure training aligns with business and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR and operations leadership on onboarding workflows and employee development initiatives.
  • Represent the training function during audits, quality reviews, and client interactions as needed.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all required training (safety, regulatory, HR compliance) is completed on time.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure readiness for audits or customer reviews

Education & Experience

  • Must have a Valid State issued Driver's License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 3–7 years of experience in training, workforce development, or operations leadership.
  • Experience supervising or coaching trainers or frontline teams strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience facilitating large group, instructor led training.
