Position: Aviation Logistics Planner
Overview: ITC Defense is seeking an Aviation Logistics Planner to support Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) international aviation programs. This position supports Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Security Cooperation efforts throughout the program lifecycle in support of U.S. Ally and Partner Nation mission objectives.
Responsibilities:Conduct logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses to support aircraft, weapon systems, training systems, and support equipment (SE) programs.Analyze logistics requirements and provide recommendations related to maintenance planning, manpower and personnel, provisioning and material support, support equipment, training and training devices, technical data, and packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T).Support the development and evaluation of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) plans and related logistics strategies.Review and support the development of Maintenance Plans, Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) records, maintenance tasks, and Level of Repair (LOR) analyses.Analyze proposed changes to aircraft, weapon system, and support equipment quantities and assess potential impacts to life cycle logistics and sustainment requirements.Evaluate maintenance systems and support concepts to determine their applicability to aircraft, weapon systems, and support equipment requirements.Track program milestones, action items, schedules, and logistics requirements through review and analysis of Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs), contract schedules, In-Service Support Plans, and other program documentation.Support FMS and Security Cooperation case development, implementation, execution, and follow-on support activities, including new business and program planning efforts.Prepare for and participate in Program Management Reviews, Technical Coordination Meetings, conferences, briefings, and other program activities in CONUS and OCONUS, as required.Support special projects and other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications: Active Department of Defense Secret or Interim Secret security clearance.Master’s degree from an accredited college or university and more than ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS), logistics, program management, acquisition, life cycle management, technical or business analysis, or a related field.Ability to analyze complex logistics and program information and develop clear, supportable recommendations.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and program activities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with government personnel, program teams, and other internal and external stakeholders.Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS, as required. For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Maryland, ITC Defense is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Maryland and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually.
