Summary

Essential Job Functions: Primarily performs a variety of aircraft services, including marshaling, fueling, hangar storage, towing and other ground support. Coordinate and direct ramp movements for arriving and departing aircraft. Operate ground service equipment, such as tugs, fuel trucks and transport vans. In charge of all ground maintenance. Examine all equipment and report deficiencies to the supervisor; Cleans and maintains tools and equipment; Maintains inventory of items used in maintenance and repair work; Complete equipment preventative maintenance check list on equipment; Complete daily equipment maintenance reports.

Other Job Functions: This position requires 100% on-site work. Performs other duties as required. Deliver a proactive, personalized service experience to private and business aviation clientele. Additional responsibilities may include providing shuttle service for passengers/crew as required. Examples of duties

Working Conditions: This position requires 100% on-site work. Works inside and outside in all kinds of weather, on ladders at various heights, Exposed to fume/odor hazards, chemical hazards and gas vapors; Exposed to constant noise. Must be available to work Monday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m, weekends. Must be available to work extended hours as needed. Position may be considered essential during emergency situations.

Qualifications

Knowledge: Knowledge of standard practices, methods, and tools used in fueling and towing of various aircraft and equipment preferred; Knowledge of the principles and practices of airport facilities and movement/non-movement safety areas. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions preferred.

Skills/Abilities: Skilled in the use and care of tools and equipment common to the trade; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees; Ability to read and comprehend procedural instructions.

Physical Requirements: Constantly sees (must be able to distinguish colors) and hears; Frequently drives, climbs, kneels, squats, stands, stoops, twists body, walks and lifts objects weighing up to 75 lbs., uses a calculator, crawls, carries up to 50 lbs., pulls and pushes up to 100 lbs., and holds up to 25 lbs. Infrequently writes by hand; infrequently cleans, sits, and sorts.

Education/Experience: Must possess a high school diploma or high school equivalency. Formal/informal training aircraft movement, fueling points of various aircraft preferred. TSA Security awareness training required.

Other: Must possess a valid Class C driver's license with a good driving record. Other state valid Driver's License equivalent to Texas Class C with a good driving record will be considered. Texas state law requires within 30 days of residency, you must possess a valid Texas driver's license.
