As this significant, long-term, operations and maintenance contract continues to grow, we are seeking several Fuel Tanker Drivers to join our team at RAAF Darwin, NT.

In this pivotal role, you will:

  • Support the Defence Fuel Network across Australia, ensuring operational excellence and reliability.
  • Contribute directly to the success of a program that's essential to the national defence capability.
  • Work alongside industry experts, Defence partners, and UGL’s outstanding teams.

The Role

Reporting through to the Operations Supervisor, your day-day duties will include;

  • Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and the defence base
  • Work closely with operator/s to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuel
  • Deliver the fuel to the designated fuel point i.e., refueling point, aircraft on the runway etc
  • Operate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft
  • Communicate with internal and external team to ensure good customer experience

What you Need

You will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer.

We expect the successful applicants to have the following

  • HC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence is essential
  • Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential
  • Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded
  • Good communicator and ability to work in a diverse team
  • Current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances
