Job Description

TASK DESCRIPTION:

This position is located in the KAF O-Level Maintenance Activity at AAJB to provide CMS relating to the installation, operation, maintenance, modification and repair of the F/A-18 weapons systems.

TASK REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and testing the electrical systems of the F/A-18 aircraft. This includes landing gear and related systems, secondary power system, hydraulic system, fuel system, instruments and air data computer system, and integrated flight control system.
  1. Support OJT and cross training of KAF personnel.

MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Completed the F/A-18 Fleet Replacement Aviation Maintenance Program Electrician or equivalent course.
  1. Minimum of four (4) years’ experience working on F/A-18 aircraft.
  1. Proficient in the use of all common and F/A-18 peculiar electrical support equipment.
  1. Proficient with VIDS/MAFs documentation and all applicable technical publications.
  1. Kuwaiti, Canadian and Australian F/A-18 Air Force experience is also applicable to these tasks.

6. No security clearance required.

Employment is contingent on (a) your ability to provide appropriate proof of your identity; (b) your references and any background check being satisfactory to the Company; (c) you successfully passing a pre-employment drug test; (d) you successfully gaining an entry visa from the Kuwait Embassy; (e) your ability to get a required clearance by your effective start date, if needed.
