We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

The Opportunity

This role focuses on test management for the components and systems owned by a single delivery line within our Private Core Banking Platform - Avaloq. You’ll help build an Automation Centre of Excellence and shape how automated testing is delivered across change and run activities. The role plays a direct part in improving automation levels to reduce manual intervention across testing and operational lifecycles including decisions on tooling and performance. You’ll also help ensure products and services meet mandatory and regulatory requirements and that group controls are maintained with swift remediation when needed. Success means a robust and extensible Avaloq Test Suite, improved operational stability and automation that consistently meets customer needs.

What you'll be doing

• Build an Automation Centre of Excellence for the Private Core Banking Platform - Avaloq
• Create and extend an Avaloq Test Suite with high levels of automation and ongoing optimisation
• Optimise automation levels across the team to reduce human intervention in testing and operational lifecycles
• Decide on testing tools and approaches to achieve optimal performance for automated testing
• Ensure products and services maintain compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements
• Maintain group controls within pod activities and resolve remediation actions swiftly
• Own operational stability, integrity and availability for the banking platform
• Manage the team’s delivery and operation of the automation suite to meet customer needs

What we're looking for

• Bring a strong testing background with automation using TestMaster
• Demonstrate deep hands-on experience working on the Avaloq platform
• Apply strong knowledge of test automation using the TestMaster tool
• Use Avaloq scripting and DDIC confidently to build and maintain automated tests
• Bring experience in the Private Banking domain
• Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders across systems and functions
• Develop IT solutions aligned to solution design and support continuous improvement including unit and integration testing
• Document solutions and changes with structured analysis and comprehensive written outputs
