Position Summary

Create seamless, technically flawless event experiences within one of the hospitality industry's most distinctive luxury destinations. As an Audio-Visual Technician, you will play a vital role in bringing meetings, presentations, special events, and live productions to life through expert execution, proactive troubleshooting, and polished service. Your technical expertise, professionalism, and composure will directly influence the experience of guests, VIPs, executives, and event partners. What You Will Create

• Create exceptional meeting and event experiences by preparing, operating, and restoring audio-visual systems that support presentations, conferences, celebrations, and executive gatherings with precision and reliability.
• Preserve confidence and continuity during live events by diagnosing and resolving audio, video, connectivity, and presentation challenges quickly, discreetly, and professionally.
• Deliver seamless technology experiences by supporting computer workstations, displays, software configurations, and network connectivity that allow events and business operations to perform at their highest level.
• Elevate live productions through hands-on support of switching, camera operation, sound reinforcement, and production elements that enhance audience engagement and event quality.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with internal partners, guests, executives, and stakeholders through clear communication, professional presence, and dependable execution.
• Strengthen operational excellence by coordinating effectively with external vendors and service partners, ensuring all technical requirements are aligned and executed according to event expectations.
• Preserve readiness across the operation by maintaining organized inventory, monitoring equipment condition, and supporting the availability of critical audio-visual resources.
• Support a highly personalized guest experience through ongoing knowledge of resort offerings, activities, services, and special programming, allowing you to confidently assist guests and event participants when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience setting up, operating, and dismantling audio and video equipment
• General knowledge of audio-video production techniques
• Basic understanding of audio and lighting network concepts
• Ability to provide basic IT support, including user setup, software installation, and connectivity troubleshooting
• Experience working with or coordinating third-party vendors
• Familiarity with Dante audio systems preferred
• Previous experience in live event production or audio-visual support within hospitality, corporate, educational, or similar environments preferred
• Certifications or formal training in audio-visual technologies, Dante, networking, or related disciplines preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to maintain knowledge of Nemacolin services, activities, and guest offerings
• Ability to lift, move, set up, and transport audio-visual equipment and materials required to support events and productions
