Position Type: Part Time,

Salary Range: $26.88 - $27.66 Hourly,

• Set up and operate Audio-Visual equipment for events and meetings. This may be during the day, after hours or weekends.
• Provide support for Projectors, Digital Displays, and Smartboards in schools and programs throughout the state.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the spot.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on AV equipment.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their AV needs and requirements.
• Test equipment before events to ensure everything functions properly.
• Manage inventory of AV equipment and order supplies as needed.
• Train staff and clients on how to use AV systems and equipment.
• Work with event coordinators and other stakeholders to plan AV setups.
• Document setups, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
• Provide on-site support during events to ensure seamless AV operations.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Audio/Visual Production, Broadcast Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Certification in AV technology or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with a variety of AV software and hardware systems.
• Experience with live streaming and video conferencing platforms.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with the latest trends and advancements in AV technology.
• Proven experience as an AV Specialist or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of AV equipment and software.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and climb ladders.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
