AV Service & Support Engineer – London

£38,000 – £45,000 DOE | London | Monday–Friday | Hybrid Working | Paid Overtime

We're working with a highly regarded AV systems integrator looking for an experienced AV Service & Support Engineer to join its growing London team.

This is a predominantly London-based role, supporting an impressive portfolio of high-profile corporate and commercial clients. You'll join an experienced, knowledgeable and supportive technical team with a collaborative, no-ego culture.

The Role

You'll provide technical support for installed AV systems across client sites, troubleshooting faults, carrying out planned maintenance and ensuring clients receive an excellent level of service.

Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting AV, audio, video, control and networking issues
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Supporting corporate and commercial clients across London
• Liaising with manufacturers and distributors on escalated issues
• Producing service and maintenance reports
• Building strong client relationships
• Feeding technical information back to design and engineering teams

As the Service & Support function grows, there will also be opportunities to mentor junior engineers, help shape processes and take on additional responsibility.

Work-Life Balance

This is a Monday-to-Friday role, with the majority of work based in and around London rather than involving extensive UK or European travel.

The wider team generally works from home around two days per week, and there is scope for homeworking within this position. As this is a service role, client requirements will always come first, so you may occasionally need to attend site on a planned homeworking day.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have previous experience as an AV Service Engineer, Support Engineer or Field Service Engineer within corporate or commercial AV, together with:

• Strong AV fault-finding experience
• Good AV/IT networking knowledge
• Experience with Q-SYS and Shure
• Knowledge of Teams, Zoom and Webex
• Experience with Logitech, Yealink, Poly or Cisco
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• A collaborative, can-do approach
• Greater London location and full UK working rights

Experience with Crestron, Extron, BSS or Dante, together with relevant manufacturer or CTS certifications, would be advantageous.
