Position Title: AV Field Service Technician
Location: Mechanicsburg PA
Travel: Local Travel Required
We are seeking an AV Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of professional audiovisual systems, with a focus on LED displays and video wall technologies. This role will work directly in the field supporting commercial and enterprise AV environments.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on AV experience and a strong technical foundation in LED display systems, video walls, and related AV hardware.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and service AV systems including LED displays and video walls
Diagnose and troubleshoot AV hardware, signal flow, and display issues in the field
Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades for installed systems
Work with project managers and installation teams to support system deployments
Ensure systems are functioning properly and meet client requirements
Document service work, troubleshooting steps, and system updates
Qualifications
2+ years of experience supporting professional AV systems
Hands-on experience with LED displays, video walls, or large-format digital displays
Understanding of AV signal flow, cabling, and system components
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and system integration issues
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in the field
Preferred Qualifications
CTS certification or other AV industry certifications
Experience supporting commercial AV environments (corporate, broadcast, command centers, etc.)
Familiarity with AV control systems and networking fundamentals
