This role is perfect for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment supporting the technology that drives live event production.

βš™οΈ What You’ll Be Doing

As an AV Cable Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and ensuring the quality of our broadcast tactical fiber and AV cable inventoryβ€”helping LMG uphold the highest technical standards in the industry.

βœ… Test and clean AV and fiber cables to meet LMG and industry standards
βœ… Inspect connectors to ensure they are secure, clean, and fully functional
βœ… Verify calibration and performance of test equipment; coordinate manufacturer returns when needed
βœ… Perform minor cable repairs and maintenance
βœ… Replace missing or damaged connector caps and ensure fiber ends are protected
βœ… Maintain organization, labeling, and proper wrapping of cable inventory
βœ… Conduct cycle counts of connector caps and cleaning materials to maintain stock levels
βœ… Assist with general warehouse operations and cleanliness, including supporting visitors and maintaining proper storage of rental product

πŸ”Ή Education & Experience – High School Diploma required; knowledge of AV equipment and wiring/cable experience preferred
