Job Description

Support the school's AV, multimedia and classroom technology operations. The role covers live event production, AV equipment setup and troubleshooting, photography/videography, video editing, website updates and digital signage.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate sound, lighting and AV systems for school events and performances

  • Support live productions, assemblies and student activities

  • Train teachers and students on AV equipment

  • Handle photography, videography and video editing for school content

  • Maintain the school website and digital signage

  • Manage and troubleshoot classroom AV systems, projectors, interactive displays and PA systems

  • Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure AV systems remain operational

Requirements:


  • Diploma/Higher Nitec in AV Technology, Media Production, IT or related field

  • 2–3 years of hands-on AV/live production experience

  • Experience with digital audio mixers, wireless microphones and stage lighting

  • Photography, videography and professional video editing skills

  • Experience troubleshooting classroom AV equipment

  • Able to train and work with teachers and students

  • Willing to support occasional early morning or after-school events

  • Physically able to set up and move AV equipment

Duration/Working hours:

1 year contract (Option to extend another year) Oct 2026 to Sep 2027

Mondays to Thursdays: 8:30am to 6:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch
break
Fridays: 8:30am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Personnel will be given time off if required to work beyond working
hours
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays
